Affirmation for the Troubled Christian Childlover

Remember Joshua? He was one of the bravest men in the Bible, and even he had to be reminded about perseverance under hardship.
"Be strong and courageous; be not troubled or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9).
So maybe you're struggling with your desires as a Childlover. Maybe you're dealing with a traumatic experience you had as a child. Maybe you're struggling with society's hatred of you, despite your resolve to be pure, charitable, and chaste. Whatever's you're struggling with, the point is you are struggling, just as Joshua struggled, but with the grace of God, he pressed on into the Promised Land. Do you believe God will bring you to anything less if you persevere with Him in all patience and trust? There have been times I certainly have. Be of good cheer when this happens, for that's when Christ speaks to us:
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid" (John 14:27).
Peace and grace be with you, fellow soldiers.
